The A.C.E. Award

A.C.E. (Accepting the Challenge of Excellence) award recognizes high school students who have overcome physical, emotional or social challenges and gone on to achieve academic and personal success. The A.C.E. award recipient can go on to win state and national recognition.

 

The 2009 A.C.E. award recipient received a $1,000 scholarship from the Saginaw Exchange Club.

 


 

 

Law Enforcement Officer of the Year

 

This program honors men and women who serve as law enforcement officers. The Exchange Club provides this recognition program each year to area law enforcement agencies.

 

 

 


 

Proudly We Hail

 

Proudly We Hail Program honors those Americans who display the nation’s banner properly and regularly.

 

Each year the Exchange Club of Saginaw at our Tuesday luncheon at The Saginaw Club nearest “Flag Day” in June, select individual’s and businesses to honor for faithfully flying their flag.

 


 

Educator of the year

 

Each Year the Exchange Club of Saginaw honors an “Educator of the Year”. For 2007 Mary M. Bottke is the honoree. Mary has taught for 35 years and currently teaches at Heritage High School. She began her career at Chippewa Middle School, then MacArthur High School, Eisenhower High School, White Pine Middle School before moving on to Heritage. Mary Has taught Computer Ed, Business Mgmt., English, Entrepreneurship, and Clerical as well as typing and shorthand classes. She has nominated many of her colleagues for this award in the past and is very deserving of this award herself.
